Fuerteventura is famous for its rich underwater world, clear waters and perfect conditions for freediving training. Our school Diving Atlantis located in a picturesque bay of La Lajita in the South of Fuerteventura is happy to help both beginners and experienced freedivers in mastering this exciting sporting activity. We share with each client our passion for the sea and enjoyable freediving, while safety is always our top priority.
Join us and go deep into the underwater world of Fuerteventura with its diverse marine life and volcanic sea bottom! You may encounter colorful fish such as parrotfish, damselfish, angelfish, and moray eels. Larger species like barracudas, groupers, rays and turtles can also be spotted, adding to the excitement of freediving.

This course for beginners focuses on the correct breath-holding, relaxation techniques, safety guidelines, and equalization methods. During 5 water sessions participants learn to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. The course finishes with theoretical and practical exams to prove understanding of the theory and diver’s ability to apply the acquired skills in a safe and controlled manner.
The AIDA 2 Freediver course provides a solid foundation for further progression in freediving and opens the door to AIDA 3.
The AIDA 3 course builds upon the skills and knowledge acquired in previous levels and focuses on further developing your abilities as a freediver. It aims to enhance your safety, comfort, and performance in the water through a combination of theory and 6 practical training sessions. The maximum depth for this level is typically around 24 to 30 meters.
This course will take you to the next level with a great reward of being one with your mind and body.
If you feel passion for freediving, you can enroll on two courses in a row and learn all skills up to advanced level in an intensive way.

A booking of freediving in Fuerteventura can be made not less than 6 hours before the start of the activity.
If you stay in a private apartment, you need to send us its exact address (and pin on the map if possible) and on the day of the freediving tour, please wait for the transfer outside of the building.
